Fifty Years of the Mid-Missouri Fine Arts Society<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creative at Klondike<\/strong> – July 6th<\/sup> to August 10th<\/sup> 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

From its founding in 1974, the society has supported numerous artists in Franklin County and the surrounding area. This exhibit showcases the range of fine art MMFAS members have produced over the last five decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This call for submissions goes out to all past and present members. We\u2019re looking for examples of work in all subjects and media that best represent the history, excellence, and diverse styles of the society\u2019s members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The jury panel is seeking work from present and former member artists made in the last fifty years that demonstrates their level of quality, style, and personality. Family members or other representatives may submit work for member artists who are deceased. Works that are no longer in the artist\u2019s possession are acceptable as long as the current owner gives loan permission for the duration of the exhibition. The works do not need to be for sale, but if you do decide to sell your art remember that The Creative at Klondike will take a 40% commission on any sales during the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acceptable media are specified in article I of the MMFAS constitution: painting, sculpture, drawing, ceramics, photography, blown glass, very fine jewelry, fiber arts, and original artist prints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Submit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your submission is limited to a maximum of five works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your submission is free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
