Description
This course provides an introduction to the designs and traditions of Celtic Knots, with an emphasis on adaptations of the technique to jewelry, calligraphy, fiber, woodworking, and ceramics. The course will include a history of the origins and international growth of Celtic Knots and an analysis of their structure.

In our November “Open Press” session, students will trace and incise an image on a plexiglass plate, ink it and print it on the etching press.
