The MMFAS 50th anniversary exhibit last year was a great success—so great that our hosts, the Creative at Klondike have invited us back this year. This is an opportunity for our members to display their work at the main gallery in Klondike park, just East of Augusta, MO.
Who is eligible? Open to all current MMFAS members.
What is acceptable? Any 2-D or 3-D original work or reproduction. All work must remain in place for the duration of the show. We are not restricting work by size or age.
How do I submit work? Space is limited, so in order for us to organize the exhibit, we will need members to email photographs of prospective work. Send in images to Miguel de Aguero at mdea1732@gmail.com no later than midnight May 25th. Your submission is not a guarantee of acceptance of work. Work delivered to drop-off on May 31st without prior acceptance will not be included in the exhibit.
Prepare fresh photographs of the work:
- Use a camera or phone to take a frontal image of each work, as it will appear in the exhibit, including frame or gallery wrapped.
- Avoid reflection glare from glass or glossy finishes.
- Be sure to capture the complete work, including frame, within the margins of the photo.
- Do not attempt to crop the image.
- Do not reduce the image resolution. The larger the dimensions, the better.
- Be sure the image is in .jpg or .jpeg format.
- For 3-D work, photograph on a solid light background.
What is the cost? There is no submission or entry fee.
Important Dates:
- Exhibition runs from June 7th to June 28th.
- Deadline for submission: Midnight May 25th
- Jury will send notification of acceptance: May 28th
- Delivery of accepted works: May 31st9:00 – noon
- Reception: June 7th, 1:00 to 3:00 pm
- Pickup of work: June 28th, 9:00 – noon
