As part of MMFAS’ ongoing collaboration with Creative at Klondike, we will once again organize a display of selected works from our members during four weeks in April.
Where is the Creative at Klondike? The art center is located in Klondike Park, just east of Augusta MO on Hwy 94.
Who is eligible? Open to all current MMFAS members.
What is acceptable? Any 2-D or 3-D original work or reproduction. All work must remain in place for the duration of the show. We are not restricting work by size, age or theme.
How do I submit work? Space is limited, so in order for us to organize the exhibit, we will need members to email photographs of prospective work. Send in images to Miguel de Aguero at mdea1732@gmail.com no later than midnight March 22nd. Your submission is not a guarantee of acceptance of work. Work delivered to drop-off on April 24th without prior acceptance will not be included in the exhibit.
What is the cost? There is no submission or entry fee.
Prepare fresh photographs of the work:
- Use a camera or phone to take a frontal image of each work, as it will appear in the exhibit, including frame or gallery wrapped.
- Avoid reflection glare from glass or glossy finishes.
- Be sure to capture the complete work, including frame, within the margins of the photo.
- Do not attempt to crop the image.
- Do not reduce the image resolution. The larger the dimensions, the better.
- Be sure the image is in .jpg or .jpeg format.
- For 3-D work, photograph on a solid light background.
Important Dates:
- Exhibition runs from April 4th to May 2nd
- Deadline for submission: Midnight March 22nd
- Jury will send notification of acceptance: March 30th
- Delivery of accepted works: April 4th 9:00 – noon
- Reception: April 11th, 1:00 to 3:00 pm
- Pickup of work: May 2nd, 9:00 – noon
