Dear Business Hosts, Artists, and Supporters of Art Walk …
The weather held out (for the most part). The crowds were good. Most of the balloons held up just long enough. And downtown Washington got a weekend of art and fun. Thank you all!!!
Thank you business hosts for lending your time and energy to Art Walk. It did mean more work for you, and we hope it attracted some business for you and some buzz for the business district. Thank you artists, for all of your hard work and your valuable time. We got terrific feedback on the quality of your art. Thank you everyone for your patience, since every event like this has an element of making it up as we go along.
So โฆ on behalf of all the organizers, THANK YOU!!!
Weโll be huddling in the near future to assess what went right, what could be improved on, and how we can make it bigger and better next year. And it would be a big help to get your feedback. Did it go well for you? How could it have been a better experience? What would you recommend we do differently- or the same – next year?
Any thoughts you have are very welcome and helpful.
Again, thank you.
Please feel feel to reply with your thoughts.
Patrick Murphy

The Scavenger Hunt- What is it?
The scavenger hunt is an extra feature of this year’s Art Walk. Each stop on your trek has a secret “code word.” Ask the artist or host for their special word and write it down on the designated place on your Art Walk map. Turn it in at the Room for Art Gallery before 4:00 pm on Saturday June 27th, and you’ll be entered in a drawing for prizes.
